Wilhelm Wichard Carl Gottfried Julius Franz Freiherr von Sobeck (born May 25, 1799 in Kruckow ; † August 27, 1875 there ) was a German landowner , politician and member of the Prussian mansion .

Life

His grandfather was the Prussian major general Karl Franz von Sobeck . Born as the son of the landlord, Prussian chamberlain and district deputy Peter Freiherr von Sobeck (1773-1847) and his first wife Jeanette von Jordan († 1805), von Sobeck studied camera sciences in Göttingen , Halle and Greifswald . During his studies he became a member of the Halle fraternity in 1818 and of the Corps Guestphalia Halle in 1819 . After graduating, he managed his goods in Kruckow with Marienfelde , Tutow with Wirow (probably Wittenwerder ), Zemmin and Barkow in the Demminer district and Kösternitz in the Schlawe district .

Wilhelm von Sobeck was district deputy of the Demmin district. In 1851 he became a member of the first chamber of the Prussian state parliament in the constituency of Pomerania 1 (Demmin / Usedom / Ueckermünde). In 1854 he became a member of the newly formed Prussian manor house , to which he belonged until his death, upon presentation of the old and fortified properties in the Duchy of Stettin .

He was married to Marie von Quillfeldt (born October 11, 1810, † January 1, 1889) since 1831. The marriage had three sons and three daughters:
