Friedrich Wilhelm von der Osten , also: Fritz Wilhelm von der Osten (born October 15, 1842 in Blumberg , † February 16, 1928 in Stettin ) was a German landowner and politician.

family

He came from the old noble family from the east .

Osten married on April 27, 1881 at Gut Hohenholz Marie von Eickstedt-Peterswaldt (born November 9, 1860 in Guhrau , † January 23, 1948 in Bode near Ebstorf ), the daughter of Karl Graf von Eickstedt-Peterswaldt, landlord on Rothen-Clempenow and Hohenholz, and his wife Marie, née von Rohr .

Life

Osten was a landlord on Penkun , Büssow and Blumberg (all in the Randow district ), Prussian cavalry master , from 1879 Prussian chamberlain and legal knight of the Order of St. John . He was a member of the 14th to 47th Provincial Parliament of the Province of Pomerania (1888 to 1919) for the constituency of Randow and was a member of the Provincial Committee.

In 1901 he became a member of the Prussian mansion for life at the presentation of the association of old and fortified property in the Duchy of Stettin , and was a member of this until its dissolution in 1918.
