Carl von Heyden-Linden

Carl Johannes Albrecht von Heyden-Linden (born February 23, 1851 in Berlin , † August 30, 1919 in Stretense ) was a Prussian manor owner and politician .

Life

Carl von Heyden-Linden came from the Heyden-Linden line of the Pomeranian noble von Heyden family . He was a son from the first marriage of August von Heyden-Linden (1813-1881) and Arianna von Maltzahn (1823-1851), a daughter of Karl von Maltzahn and sister of Rudolf von Maltzahn . Shortly after he was born, his mother died. His eldest brother was Wilhelm von Heyden-Linden and Bogislav von Heyden-Linden was his stepbrother . His eldest sister Arianne (1841–1927) married Ludwig von Schlotheim in 1873 .

Carl von Heyden-Linden was the owner of the Stretense manor in the Anklam district (owned by the family since 1840) and the Megow manor in the Pyritz district . In the Prussian army he was promoted to Rittmeister . In 1911 he became a member of the Prussian mansion for life after the presentation of the old and fortified properties in the Duchy of Stettin and was part of it until its dissolution in 1918.

Carl von Heyden-Linden was married to Klara Mathilde Luise von Cranach (* 1865) since 1885. The couple had a son and three daughters.

In 1909 von Heyden-Linden had the Stretense chapel built on the Stretense estate for the wedding of his eldest daughter Irmgard (* 1888) , which he donated to the Prussian regional church .
