Viktor von Dewitz (politician)

Karl Gustav Viktor von Dewitz (born November 29, 1853 in Farbezin , Naugard district , † 1921 ) was a Prussian manor owner and politician .

Life

Viktor von Dewitz came from the Mecklenburg-Pomerania noble family von Dewitz from the Farbzin family .

He was the owner of the Farbzin manor in the Naugard district in the Pomerania region . In the Prussian army he made it up to major and served, among other things, in the Leib-Guard-Hussar Regiment . He was a legal knight of the Order of St. John .

From 1900 to 1920 he belonged to the election of Pomerania in the district of Szczecin the Pomeranian Provincial Parliament of the Province of (27 to 49 county council). In 1903 he became a member of the Prussian mansion for life after the presentation of the old and fortified properties in the Duchy of Stettin . After the November Revolution in 1918 , the Prussian mansion was dissolved. 1919/1920 he was chairman of the provincial assembly (47th and 48th provincial assembly).

He died in 1921 as a result of a heart attack .
