Viktor von Maltzahn

Viktor Karl Dietrich Freiherr von Maltzahn (born June 16, 1823 in Rowa , † February 13, 1901 in Mansfeld Castle ) was a Prussian manor owner and politician .

Life

Viktor von Maltzahn came from the Mecklenburg-Pomerania aristocratic family von Maltzahn and was a son from the first marriage of his father August von Maltzahn (1780–1846) with Johanne Eleonore Beate von Ramin (1785–1824).

He was the founder and first baron of the Roidin manor (also Reüdin or Reudin ) near Utzedel in the Demmin district . This estate was a feudal manor entitled to district and state assembly. Von Maltzahn held the honorary post of the Hereditary Marshal in the Duchy of Old Western Pomerania . In 1869 von Maltzahn became a member of the Prussian mansion for life in place of the late Rudolf von Maltzahn on presentation of the old and fortified property in the Duchy of Stettin . From 1889 to 1893 he was a member of the provincial parliament of the Pomerania province for the constituency Demmin (15th to 19th provincial parliament ).

Viktor von Maltzahn was married to Marie Auguste Franziska von Behr (1832–1904) since 1849. The couple had two sons.
