geography

The place is 2 kilometers west of Kruckow and south of the federal highway 110 .

history

Marienfelde was laid out in 1833 as the Vorwerk of the Kruckow estate under the owner Wilhelm von Sobeck . In 1835 the Vorwerk was only a three-sided courtyard with no other residential buildings, according to PUM (Preußisches Urmestischblatt). In 1862 the place had 64 inhabitants. In addition to five farm buildings and an administrator's house, there were two day laborers katen in which ten families lived.

This village structure was preserved until around 1945. Until then, Marienfelde was still owned by the von Sobeck family. Only then, due to the land reform, was the settlement with small farms made possible and so the village grew along the road to the B 110.

North of the B 110 at Marienfelde there is a well-preserved large stone grave directly on the road as well as two other dolmens from the Neolithic, but these are neglected and piled with reading stones. However, these graves belong to the Kruckow district.
