The Cerberus Valley is one of the Antarctic dry valleys in East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Olympus Range , it lies between Mount Cerberus and the Eurus Ridge . To the north it opens to the Victoria Valley .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the valley in 2004 based on the name of Mount Cerberus. Its namesake is the three-headed dog Cerberus from Greek mythology.
