features

Ceropegia zeyheri is a twisting or climbing, slightly branched, somewhat succulent perennial plant . The green, smooth stems measure 2 to 4 mm in cross section and are up to 1 m long. The leaves are pointed oval, 5 to 10 mm in size and succulent.

The flowers are typical window blossoms that are sessile or have a short stalk. The flower is 4 to 6 cm tall and only slightly curved. The rounded crown cup is 5 to 8 mm in diameter. The corolla tube first narrows to about 3 mm and then widens to 8 to 11 mm. The five corolla lobes are relatively long (3 to 4 cm) and fused at the top. They are relatively wide around the lower end, become very narrow after about 2/3 and become wider again towards the upper end, towards the point of fusion. They have rolled out a little. The flowers are greenish, in the area of the corolla tube with darker longitudinal stripes, in the area of the attachment points of the corolla lobes with a fine red-brown net pattern. The flowers are finely hairy inside and out.
