Cerredo , (Zarréu in Asturian ) is a parroquia and at the same time the main town in the autonomous region of Asturias in northern Spain in the municipality of Degaña .
The 830 inhabitants (2011) live in two villages on an area of ​​28.58 km 2 at an altitude of 1217  msnm . Degaña, the municipal capital is 8 km away.
The local recreation area “Area recreativa Puerto Cerredo” at an altitude of 1,341 m above sea ​​level on the Puerto der Cerredo pass ( 42 ° 57 ′ 17 ″  N , 6 ° 26 ′ 23 ″  W ) is of great importance not only in Parroquia.
