The Cerro Pirhuata is a 5,060 m high mountain peak in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

The Cerro Pirhuata is the highest peak of the Cordillera de Cocapata , a high altitude region that extends from the plateau of Cochabamba in a north-westerly direction to the confluence of the Río Boopi with the Río Alto Beni . The summit is about thirty kilometers northwest of the metropolis of Cochabamba and can be reached on the road from Quillacollo via Ironcollo and Marquina up the Río Jankho Khala towards Morochata . After 35 kilometers, a country road branches off in a north-easterly direction towards the Misicuni project and after a few kilometers passes Cerro Pirhuata to the west of the road .
