Cevat Açıkalın (* 1901 in Istanbul ; † May 24, 1970 ) was a Turkish diplomat.

Açıkalın attended Galatasaray High School , studied law in Geneva and then entered the diplomatic service of the Turkish Republic. He was part of the Turkish delegation in the negotiations on the Treaty of Montreux . In 1938 and 1939 he was extraordinary delegate for Hatay. From 1943-1945 and from 1952-1954 he was State Secretary in the Turkish Foreign Ministry. He was also ambassador to Italy (1954–1961), Great Britain (1945–1952) and the Soviet Union (1942–1943). From 1961 to 1968 Açıkalın was a member of the Senate of the Republic of Turkey.

His full name was Muhittin Mehmet Cevat Açıkalın. He was married to Rukiye Celadet Hanım. The couple were killed in a car accident in Sapanca in 1970 .
