İlkay Durmuş (born May 1, 1994 in Stuttgart ) is a Turkish - German soccer player .

Career

Durmuş began his career in Germany with TSG 1899 Hoffenheim . In 2011 he moved to VfB Stuttgart . In 2012 he moved to Gençlerbirliği Ankara in Turkey . After he had only played once in the cup in a year and a half , he moved to league rivals Antalyaspor in January 2014 . He made his professional debut on matchday 34, 2013/14 against Trabzonspor . After the club's relegation, he terminated his contract in the summer. In January 2015 he moved to Austria for the second division club Floridsdorfer AC . In summer 2015 he moved to SC Austria Lustenau .

For the 2017/18 season he moved to league competitor SV Ried , with whom he received a contract valid until June 2019.

For the 2018/19 season he moved to Bundesliga club FC Wacker Innsbruck , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2020. With Wacker he had to relegate from the Bundesliga at the end of the season , whereupon he left Innsbruck.

He then moved to Scotland for FC St. Mirren in July 2019 , where he received a contract that ran until June 2021.
