Marcus Fraser (born June 23, 1994 in Bishopbriggs ) is a Scottish football player who plays for FC St. Mirren .
Career
society
Marcus Fraser was born in 1994 in Bishopbriggs, a suburb of the largest city in Scotland, Glasgow . He started his career at Celtic Glasgow at the age of eight . While still at the Youth Academy , he signed his first professional contract with the Bhoys in the summer of 2010 . A year later, Fraser made his debut for the professional team in a friendly against Athletic Bilbao . The debut in a competitive game followed in November of the same year in the Europa League against Stade Rennes in which he defended alongside Daniel Majstorović . The defensive player made his first appearance in Scotland in February 2013 in the league game against Inverness Caledonian Thistle which ended 3-1 for Celtic . From September to December 2014 Fraser was loaned to the Scottish second division club FC Cowdenbeath . In January 2015, he signed a contract with Ross County . After five years he moved to FC St. Mirren .
National team
After his debut for the Scottish Juniors in the U-16 age group in 2009, Marcus Fraser also played in the following selection teams. In November 2012, Fraser played a game in Scotland's U-21s against Portugal after replacing Kieran Duffie .
