Cameron MacPherson (born December 29, 1998 in Glasgow ) is a Scottish football player who plays for FC St. Mirren .

Career

Cameron MacPherson was born in Glasgow. Since his youth he played at FC St. Mirren in Paisley . On October 7, 2017, MacPherson played his first game as a professional for the Saints. In the second round of the Challenge Cup against the Raith Rovers , he was substituted on for Gary Irvine in the 56th minute . Two weeks later, the young midfielder played for the first time in the 2nd division against FC Falkirk . After a game in the Scottish FA Cup and two more games in the league against Dunfermline Athletic and Queen of the South , MacPherson was loaned out to third division club FC Stranraer from February to April 2018 . For the club he ran nine times and scored one goal. After the season he came back to the Saints who had meanwhile been promoted to the Scottish Premiership . There he came on the 5th matchday for the first time when the Saints parted with a goalless draw against Celtic Glasgow . On December 15, 2018, MacPherson scored his first goal in the highest Scottish league against Aberdeen FC .
