The FC Stranraer (officially: Stranraer Football Club ) is a Scottish football club from Stranraer . The club currently plays in the Scottish League One , the third highest division in Scottish football.
The Blues missed promotion in the playoffs in 2007/08. After the financial collapse of Gretna and the subsequent exclusion from the Scottish Football League , Stranraer was nevertheless awarded a place in the Second Division as a successor. A year later, the club left the third division and was relegated to the fourth-class third division . At the end of the 2011/12 season he returned to the Second Division, which has been called League One since 2013.
