Ché Jouaner

Ché Jouaner (born September 24, 1973 in Memphis , Tennessee ) is an American-German singer, dancer and model. He became known at the end of the 1990s through the dance floor project E-Rotic .

Jouaner made his first public appearance in 1991. Under the project Unlimited pleasure he released the single Love Machine, which was number 1 in the UK dance charts and number 15 in the German dance charts. He then modeled for fashion designers and brands such as JP Gaultier , Rene Lazard , Benetton , SEGA and Nike . In 1995 he founded the agency SONSTIGES Internationale Model Management , which no longer exists.

In 1996, Jouaner replaced Terence D'Arby as a performance actor for E-Rotic . Together with Jeanette Christensen he contributed to the albums Sexual Madness, Thank You For The Music , Kiss Me and Mambo No. Sex at. In May 2000 he left the project. A German newspaper wrote that Jouaner was fired for being gay, but Jouaner said that was not true. He left E-Rotic for financial reasons. After Christensen left the project in 2001, Jouaner rejoined the project. Jouaner had Yasemin Baysal as a new partner . Just a year later, Jouaner and Baysal were released from the project. Followers were Lydia Madajewski and Robert Spehar.

During the time that Jouaner was not working for E-Rotic, he primarily tried to start a solo career as a singer and songwriter. He also recorded songs that were never released.

After being released from the dance floor in 2002, Jouaner withdrew from the public eye.
