Jeanette Macci-Meier

Jeanette Macci-Meier (born October 5, 1973 , in Dielsdorf , Switzerland , as Jeanette Meier ) is a Swiss presenter and singer . She also performed under the stage names Jeanette Christensen and Jeane . She became particularly well known in the 1990s through the dance floor project E-Rotic .

life and career

Macci-Meier joined the dance floor project E-Rotic in 1995 as the successor to Lyane Leigh . Until 1999 only Leigh sang the songs due to contractual reasons. Therefore Macci-Meier needed z. B. only move your lips when performing. From 2000 Lydia Madajewski sang the songs. In 2000 Macci-Meier appeared in the preliminary rounds of the Eurovision Song Contest 2000 (ESC) with the single Queen of Light . Macci-Meier sang for the first time at the gig herself. A year later, after six years, she left the band. Her successor was Yasemin Baysal .

In 1995 Macci-Meier was nominated for the Miss Switzerland title . After leaving the band E-Rotic, she worked on her solo career. From 2005 to 2012 she moderated the program “ Fenster zum Sonntag” on SRF .

After Macci-Meier emigrated to Dubai with her family in 2012 , she worked there as a real estate agent . She also works as a moderator for events and events. Macci-Meier has hosted the Love Ride Switzerland event annually since the 2000s (without interruption) .

Macci-Meier has been married since 2003. She has two sons and has lived in Dubai with her family since 2012 .
