The Chřibský vrch (German Himpelberg , 621 m) is a prominent mountain in the Lusatian Mountains in the Czech Republic .
Location and surroundings
The Chřibský vrch is located in the main ridge of the Lusatian Mountains, two kilometers south of Chřibská ( Kreibitz ). The small districts of Horní Chřibská ( Oberkreibitz ) and Krásné Pole ( Schönfeld ) are right at the foot of the mountain . On the Western mountain shoulder the highway # 263 extends. Between Česká Kamenice and Rumburk which at the near pass Křížový Buk ( Kreuzbuche crosses) the main ridge of the Lusatian Mountains.

The summit of the mountain is densely forested and only allows a limited view to the east. On the other hand, some of the rocky reefs on the ascent path offer a more comprehensive view of the surrounding area, but also of the rocky forest landscape of Saxon-Bohemian Switzerland .
Paths to the summit
- The Chřibský vrch is located on a green marked hiking trail that leads from Chřibská to Mlýny ( Hillemühl ). A marked junction leads to the summit.
- A good starting point for a visit to the mountain is the nearby Křížový Buk pass. From there the summit is above the above. green hiking trail can be reached in about half an hour
