The Chaeryŏng-gang ( Korean 재령강 ) is a left tributary of the Taedong-gang in North Korea .
The Chaeryŏng-gang is the largest tributary of the Taedong-gang. It runs in the province of Hwanghae-namdo in the southwest of North Korea. It flows in a predominantly northerly direction, passes the city of the same name Chaeryŏng in the administrative district of the same name Chaeryŏng-gun and meets the Taedong-gang shortly before its confluence with the Yellow Sea . The Chaeryŏng Gang has a length of about 120 km. Its catchment area covers approx. 3600 km².
