Chahar Asyab or Charasiah ( Persian چهار آسیاب) is a southern district (government district) of the province of Kabul in Afghanistan .
The Chahar Asyab district borders in the south on the province of Logar, in the west on the province of Wardak and on the districts of Bagrami and Mussahi , in the north-west on the district Paghman and in the north on the capital Kabul . The main town is Qalai Naeem, which is located in the western part of the district.
The Kabul River flows through the district . The main source of income for the people is agriculture. Some residents work in Kabul. The inhabitants are mainly Pashtuns , followed by Tajiks and Hazara .
