Chaim Ozer Grodzinski ( Hebrew חיים עוזר גרוז'נסקי; * August 24, 1863 in Iwye , Belarus , Russian Empire ; † August 9, 1940 in Vilnius , Lithuania ) was a rabbi, Beth Din , Posek, and Talmud scholar in Vilnius in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. During the 55 years that he served, he was recognized as one of the leading poskim in the world. He played an important role in protecting Lithuanian yeshivot during the "Communist Era" and saved yeshivot in Poland in 1939.
