Chakrit Buathong ( Thai ชาคริต บัว ทอง , born September 8, 1985 in Phetchabun ) is a Thai football player .

Career

Chakrit Buathong learned to play football in the school teams of the Nakhon Sawan Sports School and the Suankularb Wittayalai School as well as the university team of Thammasat University . He signed his first contract in 2006 with the first division club BEC Tero Sasana FC in Bangkok . By mid-2010 he had played 92 times for the club and scored 23 goals. In July 2010, he moved to league rivals Police United , a club that is also based in Bangkok. Mid-2013, he went to Chonburi and closed up the likewise in the first division playing Chonburi FC at. With the club he was runner-up in 2014 and was in the final of the Thai FA Cup . In 2016, the first division club Suphanburi FC from Suphanburi signed him. After two years in Suphanburi, he returned to Bangkok in 2018. Here he signed a contract with the second division Army United . After the season he moved to league rivals Kasetsart FC in 2019 . At the end of 2019, he signed a contract with MOF Customs United FC for the 2020 season . The club plays in the Thai League 2 and is also based in Bangkok.

From 2000 to 2005 Chakrit Buathong went through the Thai junior teams . He played for the U-16, U-18, U-20 and U-23. From 2011 to 2012 he played three times for the national team of Thailand .
