The Chamsen Kangri (or Chamshen Kangri ) is a 7017 m high mountain in the Saser Muztagh , a mountain range in the Indian part of the Karakoram .
The Chamsen Kangri is located on the north side of the Northern Shukpa-Kunchang Glacier . Opposite, 4.66 km south-southwest, rises the Saser Kangri III . The Saser Kangri I is 4.87 km west-southwest of the Chamsen Kangri.
Ascent history
The first ascent of Chamsen Kangri was made on August 21, 2013 by an Indian expedition (Divyesh Muni, Vineeta Muni , Susan Jensen, Victor Saunders, Samgyal Sherpa, Mingma Sherpa, Ang Dorji, Chedar Sherpa, Dawa Sherpa and Karma Sherpa) over the west ridge.
