Chance Rides Manufacturing is a manufacturer of roller coasters and other rides based in Wichita , Kansas, USA.
Miniature trains
The company became known with a miniature railway , a replica of a locomotive used by Southern Pacific Railroad , which was named after the railway manager CP Huntington . This amusement ride is still the company's best-known and is also used in amusement parks in Germany , for example in Europa-Park Rust, in Heide Park Resort under the name Heide-Park Express, and in Jaderpark . The latter two parks use vehicles that were originally procured for the Federal Garden Show in Kassel in 1981 .
Rides
The company also builds rides such as roller coasters, carousels and Ferris wheels . Of the 38 roller coasters built to date, only a few are still in use.
