Changsha (district)

Changsha ( Chinese  長沙縣  /  长沙县 , pinyin Changsha Xiàn ) is a Chinese district of the prefecture-level city in Changsha , capital of the province of Hunan . The district has an area of ​​1,997 km² and has approx. 730,000 inhabitants (2003). Its main town is the large community of Xingsha (星 沙镇).
