Individual evidence

  1. The creation dates are, unless otherwise stated, from Zenker, pp. 224–225, and Horn, pp. 184–188.
  2. ↑ About the fact that Gerard belonged to the College of Cardinals from 1145 (not only from 1152, according to Zenker, p. 225), see Brixius, p. 54, No. 7
  3. See Horn, p. 387, note 873.
  4. According to Zenker, p. 224, Cardinal Guido Puella was also created by S. Pudenziana on March 9, 1145; however, he can already be proven as a cardinal under Lucius II, cf. Brixius, p. 51 No. 4.
  5. ^ According to Zenker, p. 224, Cencius became cardinal deacon of SS. Sergio e Bacco on September 21, 1145; on the other hand Horn, p. 385.
  6. Cardinal Bishop Hugo von Ostia is said to have been appointed according to Zenker, pp. 21 and 225, on February 21, 1152; however, he can be proven as Cardinal Bishop on December 29, 1151, cf. JP Migne: Patrologia Latina, Vol. 180 col. 1483 (p. 257 in PDF file; 27.2 MB). His predecessor Guido de Summa was last recorded on May 10, 1151 (Zenker, pp. 20-21). December 21, 1151 is the corresponding Friday in December.
  7. According to Zenker, p. 225 the cardinals Enrico by SS. Nereo ed Achilleo and Giovanni by SS. Giovanni e Paolo were created on March 2nd, 1151, because they signed a privilege on April 25th, 1151; However, this document does not belong to the year 1151, but to 1152, cf. on this Paul Fridolin Kehr in: Nachrichten von der Königlichen Gesellschaft der Wissenschaften zu Göttingen , phil.-hist. Class, 1911, No. 10, p. 288 f. Therefore, a Quatember Friday on February 21, 1152, not March 2, 1151, is to be assumed as the creation date. See Horn, p. 389.
  8. See Horn, p. 389
  9. ^ Date after Horn, p. 185. Zenker, p. 225, erroneously states June 1
  10. See Horn, p. 389
  11. See Horn, p. 389
