Chantal Neuwirth (born December 11, 1948 in Paris ) is a French actress .

Life

Chantal Neuwirth successfully completed three years of acting training with Charles Dullin . From the beginning of the 1970s she was on the theater stage at irregular intervals, before she was regularly seen in Parisian theaters such as the Théâtre de l'Aquarium, Théâtre de la Ville and the Théâtre Fontaine from the early 1980s. Her greatest theater successes were two nominations for Best Supporting Actress for the renowned Molière Theater Prize and a 2004 nomination for Best Lead Actress for Portrait de famille , which she played at the Théâtre de Poche Montparnasse in Paris.

At the same time, Neuwirth played regularly in French film from the early 1980s.
