Charikleia Sakoula

Charikleia Sakoula ( Greek Χαρίκλεια Σάκουλα ; born December 18, 1973 in Athens ) is a Greek volleyball player .

Charikleia Sakoula, who played with a height of 1.80 m in the position of outside attacker and Libera, began her career in 1985 with the Greek club Aris Nikeas, where she played for seven years. In the summer of 1992 Sakoula moved to Athens city ​​rivals Ionikos NF where she was able to win the championship in 1994 . After further positions in Italy and Thessaloniki , Sakoula switched to the traditional club Panathinaikos Athens in the summer of 2002, where she was able to achieve the double in 2005, 2006 and 2009. In 2009 she was in the final of the Challenge Cup with Athens , but lost to the Italians of Vini Monteschiavo Jesi and took second place. In 2012 she was again Greek champion with AEK Athens .

Charikleia Sakoula played 215 times for the Greek national team and took part with them in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens .
