Charles Robert Crowe (born October 12, 1867 in Guelph , † September 3, 1953 ) was a Canadian sports marksman .
successes
Charles Crowe took part in the 1908 Olympic Games in London in part, in which he took in two disciplines. In the distance of 1000 yards with the free rifle, he finished ninth with 90 points. With the army rifle, he was part of the Canadian team, which finished third over six different distances behind the United States and Great Britain. In addition to Crowe, William Smith , Bruce Williams , Dugald McInnes , William Eastcott and Harry Kerr also won the bronze medal. With 415 points, he was the team's second best shooter.
Crowe was a Lieutenant Colonel in the Royal Canadian Army . He was married and had a daughter and a son, among others.
