Charles Gross
Charles Gross (born May 13, 1934 in Boston , Massachusetts ) is an American composer .
Life
After completing his bachelor's degree from Harvard University , Charles Gross studied at the New England Conservatory and Mills College , where he also taught. During his time in the United States Army , he was arranger for the West Point Band . After composing the music for the Oscar-winning documentary Robert Frost: A Lover's Quarrel with the World in 1963 , Gross was known above all as a film composer for television films such as The Burning Bed , Burning Fate and A Family Thing - Reluctant Brothers in the following decades .
