Robert Frost: A Lover's Quarrel with the World is an American documentary from 1963 about the American poet and four-time Pulitzer Prize winner Robert Frost .
Plot and awards
The life and work of acclaimed poet Robert Frost is portrayed in this film, which was completed in 1963 shortly before Frost's death at the age of 88. Guest lectures at Amherst College and Sarah Lawrence College as well as studies of his work as well as scenes from his life in rural Vermont and personal reviews of his writing career will be shown. He is also accompanied on a flight to an award ceremony with US President John F. Kennedy and Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson .
The film was at the Oscar ceremony in 1964 with the Oscar for the best documentary award.
