Charles H. Fine

Charles H. Fine (* 20th century ) is a professor at the MIT Sloan School of Management and a management consultant.

Fine received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Management from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina in 1978 . He received his Master of Science degree in Operations Research from Stanford University in 1981 , where he also received his PhD in decision theory in 1983 .

Fine is Professor of Operations Strategy and Supply Chain Management at MIT's Sloan School of Management and directs MIT's Communications Futures Program . He has been with MIT since 1983. He is the author of the book Clockspeed from 1998, the final report on the third research phase of the International Motor Vehicle Program (IMVP).

At the same time, Fine is on the Board of Directors of GreenFuel Technologies Corporation , a biotechnology company he co-founded. He is also on the board of directors of the Executive Education Program Driving Strategic Innovation , which is a joint venture between the MIT Sloan School of Management and the International Institute for Management Development and also at the IMVP.
