Charlotte Schmidt

Charlotte Schmidt , née Böhmer (born March 14, 1933 in Niederschelden , today in Siegen ), is a former German athlete .

At the European Championships in 1954 she won the silver medal with the German 4 x 100 meter relay (47.1 s: Irmgard Egert , Charlotte Böhmer, Irene Brütting , Maria Sander ). In the 100-meter run of these European championships she was eliminated in the intermediate run, in the 200-meter run she finished 6th.

Charlotte Schmidt belonged to the sports club OSV Hörde . With the sprint relay of the club she won the German championship in 1954, 1956 and 1959 and the German indoor championship title in 1957 and 1959. In 1954 and 1955 she was German champion over 200 meters, in 1956 German indoor champion over 70 meters.
