Irene Brütting

Irene Brütting (born October 24, 1935 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a former German athlete who won the silver medal in the German 4 x 100 meter relay at the 1954 European Championships (47.1 s: Irmgard Egert , Charlotte Böhmer , Irene Brütting, Maria Sander ).

Irene Brütting belonged to the sports club Weiß-Blau Frankfurt / Main . She set her best performances of 11.9 s over 100 meters and 24.9 s over 200 meters in 1955. In 1956 she achieved her best placement at the German Championships when she became runner-up over 100 meters.
