Charlotte McKinney (born August 6, 1993 in Orlando , Florida ) is an American model and actress . She was best known for a commercial for the restaurant chain Carl's Jr. , which ran during the halftime break of the 2015 Super Bowl XLIX .

life and career

McKinney grew up in Orlando and has an older sister. She suffers from dyslexia and was therefore, according to her own statements - also in connection with her appearance - teased at school. She dropped out of school at the age of 17 to pursue a modeling career. After appearing in Esquire magazine and a campaign for the Guess fashion company , she was signed by the Wilhelmina Models agency .

In February 2015 McKinney took part with Keoikantse Motsepe in the 20th season of the television show Dancing with the Stars , the US equivalent of Let's Dance . She and her partner were eliminated as the second couple.

After first smaller appearances in 2006 McKinney had her first relevant role in the second part of Joe Dreck in 2015 : Joe Dreck 2: Beautiful Loser . She is also part of the cast of the Baywatch remake and Flatliners remake .
