Chelsea boot
The Chelsea boot , or Chelsea boot , is a classic men's shoe model . It is a boot that is above the ankle and is characterized by two elastic band inserts on the side, on the right and left of the ankle .
Historical
The Chelsea boot is based on an invention by JS Hall, a shoemaker of Queen Victoria , from 1830 years ago in London back. Since then, the model has remained in the classic men's shoe collections of many suppliers. It is believed that the name "Chelsea Boot" was first established when many artists from the Chelsea and Fulham districts of London wore this shoe in the 1950s and 1960s .
In the 1960s this model became very popular as the “Beatle Boat”. This name goes back to the pop group " The Beatles ", whose members wore this boot in a variant with a higher and slightly curved heel and a very narrow toe.

There are two model variants, the difference of which only becomes apparent on closer inspection: On the one hand, the model with a shaft cut that shows a short vertical seam below the elastic band inserts (see the illustration of the black Chelsea boot), and on the other hand, the Chelsea boot. Boot without those extra seams. Since the seams enable smaller shaft parts to be processed, processing is both easier and less material is wasted. Both of these lead to a lower production and therefore also a lower selling price for the model variant with these additional seams. Shoe connoisseurs prefer the rarely found boots without these seams.
The Chelsea boot exists in a women's version, which is characterized by a slightly higher and narrower heel and corresponding to one, the female foot, women make is made.

The better Chelsea boots are characterized by the welted design .
