Chelsi Smith

Chelsi Mariam Pearl Smith (born August 23, 1973 in Redwood City , California - † September 8, 2018 in Los Angeles , California) was an American actress , singer and beauty queen. She was named Miss Texas as the first dark skinned woman in 1994, and in 1995 she was crowned Miss USA and Miss Universe .

In 1996 she had a guest role in the television series Ein Mountie in Chicago , then she starred in the films One Flight Stand (2001) and Playa's Ball (2003). In 2002, the song Dom Da Da she sang was included in the soundtrack of the film Super sweet and super sexy .

She died of liver cancer on September 8, 2018 in Los Angeles at the age of 45.
