The SV Schmöckwitz-Eichwalde (until 1945 SC Ajax Eichwalde ) was founded in 1953 under the name BSG Chemie Schmöckwitz and, like almost all chemistry teams, played in traditional green and white. Shortly after the founding, the SG Eichwalde team was integrated. In 1955 the BSG merged with Chemie Grünau to form BSG Chemie Grünau-Schmöckwitz. In the year of the merger, Grünau-Schmöckwitz rose to the Berlin district league , in which the runner- up was immediately behind the SG Dynamo-Mitte .

In 1957 Chemie Schmöckwitz won the East Berlin Championship in front of Lichtenberg 47 and was promoted to the 2nd GDR League . The then third highest division of the GDR held the BSG until 1962, with the Berliners almost without exception in the relegation battle. The greatest success was the round of 16 in the FDGB Cup in 1957 , in which Chemie Grünau-Schmöckwitz lost 1: 2 to BSG Lokomotive Stendal . In the following period name changes were made again. In 1961 the BSG split up again into the two clubs from Grünau and Schmöckwitz, and when Pneumant joined , the Berliners played as BSG Pneumant Schmöckwitz from 1983 onwards .

On a sporting level, Schmöckwitz was active with brief interruptions in the Berlin district league until 1991. The SV Schmöckwitz-Eichwalde was grouped into the Berlin state league after the fall of the Wall, but could not hold this division. Schmöckwitz-Eichwalde was no longer able to return to higher regions.
