Chenggong ( 呈贡 区 , Chénggòng Qū ) is a municipality in the prefecture -level city ​​of Kunming , the capital of Yunnan Province in southwest China . It has an area of ​​541 km² and counts about 160,000 (2004). Since May 20, 2011, when Chenggong County was made a municipality, the seat of the Kunming City Government has been on Jinxiu Street (锦绣 大街) of Chenggong.
