Dongchuan (东川 区 Dōngchuān Qū) is a municipality in the prefecture-level city of Kunming , the capital of Yunnan Province in the People's Republic of China . It has an area of 1,858.79 km² and has a population of around 300,000 (2002).
Administrative structure
At the community level, the city district consists of a street district , six large municipalities and one municipality . These are:
