Moritz Grenzebach (born July 24, 1979 in Mönchengladbach-Rheydt ) is a German film and TV producer .

education

First he studied film and television studies , journalism and communication studies and philosophy at the Ruhr University Bochum and the University of Copenhagen , which he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 2005. Parallel to his first studies, he began studying film production at the international film school in Cologne in 2004, which was funded by the collecting society of film and television producers through an annual scholarship up to his second BA degree . During his studies he already worked on various short films as a production manager and producer, as well as a production manager for WDR . The International Producing course he completed in 2008 at the international film school in Cologne complements his training.

He was able to sell the first short films he produced, " Natural Needs " and " Loud " , to the television station Arte . Just like his production God wants it! These short films ran successfully at national and international film festivals . While still studying in 2007, he set up his own business with the directors Christopher Becker and Johannes F. Sievert and founded Pi Filmproduktion in Cologne . In the same year he left the company.

After his project-related work in the international event / cinema production Henri 4 for Ziegler Film, he moved to Eyeworks Germany GmbH in January 2009, where he worked as a producer for television films, documentaries and series until March 2013. Since April 2013 he has been working as a producer at greenskyFilms GmbH.
