Chester Bowman
Chester Bowman ( Chester A. "Chet" Bowman; born November 22, 1901 in West Long Branch ; † May 31, 1936 ibid.) Was an American sprinter .
At the Olympic Games in Rome in 1924 he was fourth over 100 m .
In 1927 he was US champion over 100 yards and in 1926 and 1930 US indoor champion over 60 yards. On July 4, 1927 he set up in Lincoln together with John Currie , James Pappas and Henry Cummings with 41.0 s a world record in the 4-by-110-yard relay .
