The Chiguancodrossel ( Turdus chiguanco ) is a songbird from the family of thrushes (Turdidae).

The bird measures 27–28 cm and weighs 107 g. The upper side is monochrome olive gray to brown, the underside a little lighter, the beak and legs are yellow. The iris is red to maroon.

Occurrence

The chiguan thrush is a bird of South America and is found in Argentina , Bolivia , Chile , Ecuador, and Peru . He prefers tropical or subtropical bush landscapes, agricultural areas with free-standing trees, bushes and hedges, but also gardens and parks.

The bird feeds on insects and earthworms, fruits and berries. The breeding season is in December.
