China Postal Airlines is a Chinese cargo airline based in Tianjin and based at Tianjin Airport .

history

China Postal Airlines was established on November 25, 1996 and began operating on February 27, 1997. The airline was founded to cope with the increasing mail traffic within China. Since 2006, international destinations in Japan and South Korea have also been served. In January 2007, the company entered international freight charter traffic. The airline is owned by China Post (51%) and China Southern Airlines (49%).
