The China World Trade Center (中国 国际 贸易 中心; Pinyin: Zhōngguó Guójì Màoyì Zhōngxīn ) is a 3.6 hectare urban development area in the center of the business district of Beijing in the People's Republic of China .

As a member of the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) in New York, it is part of the global network of around 300 WTCs in 100 countries.

The China World Trade Center Tower III , designed by the architects Skidmore, Owings and Merrill , has been under construction within this area, around five kilometers east of the Forbidden City . After its completion in early 2009, it will be the tallest building in Beijing at 330 meters. The tower has 74 floors and more than 10,000 people work in the building with 540,000 square meters of floor space and 30 elevators.

Tower 3 is reminiscent of the towers of the old New York World Trade Center
