Chingmy Yau
Chingmy Yau Suk-Zing (born May 16, 1968 in Hong Kong ) is a Chinese actress who appeared in Hong Kong feature film productions. She played u. a. alongside Simon Yam , Jackie Chan , Stephen Chow , Andy Lau , Jordan Chan , Ekin Cheng and Jet Li .
life and work
Chingmy Yau was named Miss Hong Kong at a beauty pageant in 1987, making her famous.
She was one of the leading actresses in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Her partners were Maggie Cheung , Brigitte Lin and Cheung Man. She was also known from many Cat III films. The best-known film with her was Naked Killer , which was also released in Germany and has a large fan base.
In 1999 she married the fashion designer Shen Jiawei, with whom she has three children. At the same time she announced the end of her film career.
