Choe Ung-chon (born August 6, 1982 ) is a North Korean soccer player .

Career

Nothing is known about Choe's club membership in North Korea, in 2006 he played for Khemara in the Cambodian capital Phnom Penh . He reached the semi-finals of the AFC President's Cup 2006 with the team , to which he contributed with a hat trick against the Taiwanese club Tatung FC .

In the North Korean national team , the striker made at least twelve international appearances between 2001 and 2005. In 2002 he won the King's Cup in Thailand with the national team , the following year they reached the final again. Further missions followed in the qualifications for the Asian Cup in 2004 and the World Cup in 2006. In 2005 he was part of the squad in the final round of the East Asian Cup and came as a substitute for two missions.
