The Chogolisa glacier is located in the southern Karakoram in the Pakistani special territory of Gilgit-Baltistan .
The Chogolisa glacier has a length of 14 km. It flows initially in a westerly direction and later in a southerly direction through the eastern Masherbrum Mountains . The Chogolisa glacier is framed by the following mountains: Chubu ( 6600 m ), Prupoo Brakka ( 6870 m ) and Tasa Brakka ( 6700 m ). The eponymous mountain Chogolisa is 5 km further east and does not border directly on the glacier. The Chogolisa glacier flows on the right into the Charakusa glacier , which feeds the Hushe , a right tributary of the Shyok .
