Cholit (Hebrew: חוֹלִית) is a kibbutz that belongs to the RV Eshkol in the southern district of Israel . In 2018 the place had 164 inhabitants.
history
In 1977, the Nachal pioneer youth founded the Cholit settlement near Jamit on the Sinai Peninsula . Due to the Israeli-Egyptian peace treaty , the original settlement on the Sinai Peninsula was cleared and re-established at its current location in 1982.
