Choong Tan Fook

Choong Tan Fook (born February 6, 1976 ) is a badminton player from Malaysia .

Career

He played badminton in men's doubles at the 2004 Summer Olympics with partner Lee Wan Wah . They had a bye in the first round and defeated Pramote Teerawiwatana and Tesana Panvisavas from Thailand in the second round . In the quarterfinals, Choong and Lee lost to Lee Dong-soo and Yoo Yong-sung from South Korea with 11:15, 15:11, 15: 9.

Zhang Jiewen , the 2004 women's doubles Olympic champion from the People's Republic of China , announced in August 2008 that she and Choon Tan Fook wanted to get married after she was eliminated from the 2008 Olympic badminton tournament in Beijing in the quarter-finals.
